Had a long meeting with @SECNAV @HungCao_VA today. I can’t share the details, but we went through a long list of concerns. My takeaway? We are in very good hands. /1

P.S. That does not mean we are out of the woods. We are not. We need to move faster. Shipbuilding is extraordinarily complex, especially in DC. We need to promote people who thrive in complexity and can run OODA loops through minefields — and move out the people who can’t. Some of that just can’t be done until Hung is confirmed.
