Virtuals just moved from LayerZero to Chainlink Virtuals Protocol (@virtuals_io) is migrating its cross-chain stack, and its $700M $VIRTUAL token, from LayerZero to @chainlink CCIP, citing security as it builds payment rails for AI agents. Since the $292M LayerZero bridge exploit in April, Kelp, Lombard, Solv, Re, and Kraken have moved to CCIP, with over $4 billion in assets even before Virtuals.
