The idea that Ethereum isn t ETH is a dangerous mental shortcut. In fact, it s exactly the kind of flawed thinking that pushed me to start writing and podcasting in the first place. Here s the truth: there is no strong Ethereum without a trillion-dollar ETH. Period. If ETH fails to become a global store of value, Ethereum fails as a project. Full stop. ETH is the economic bandwidth for DeFi. It s the only asset engineered to maximize for CROPs. If ETH fails to hold high value, CROPs fail, and Ethereum fails with them. Saying you re bullish on Ethereum but not ETH is like saying you re bullish on America but not the U.S. economy. They re the same thing. The economic engine is the core. It s more honest to admit Ethereum is a failing project than to keep repeating Ethereum not ETH. That weak framing doesn t hold up for Bitcoin, Zcash, or any truly native crypto asset. So let s drop the blockchain not crypto nonsense. It has no real meaning for BTC, ZEC, ETH, or any authentic, native crypto project.
